The best golf gloves for sweaty hands are made from a mix of cabretta leather or other synthetic materials that are designed to be breathable and moisture resistant to help your hand grip your club.
Gloves designed with improved airflow throughout are far superior because they help remediate moisture and ultimately keep your hands dry.
With that in mind, I reviewed a handful of gloves that are marketed as all weather gloves.
Footjoy Rain Glove
- QuikDry™ knit material
- Autosuede™ knit palm
- Removable ball marker
- Sold in pair
Many sweaty handed golfers swear by the Footjoy Rain glove. Keep in mind this glove is intended for use in rainy conditions however they work well in any wet hand situation. This glove features an autosuede™ knit palm, which provides maximum grip in wet or humid conditions.
The QuikDry™ knit material along the back of the hand and fingers allows for peak breathability and quick-drying comfort so when you do sweat, it dries quickly.
This glove comes in a pair, so you get a left and right.
Mizuno Rainfit Glove
- Moisture wicking
- Neoprene wristband
- Sold in pair
Another rain glove, the Mizuno Rainfit feels very breathable when wearing. The material is moisture wicking, so it absorbs excess sweat and wetness.
Mizuno calls the material “Clarino”, an elite Japanese synthetic suede that provides superior grip in wet conditions. I found that over time this tacky material tends to wear down, but it’s still usable, just less effective.
These also come in a pair with left and right gloves.
Footjoy TropiCool Glove
- Nanolock™ Fiber Palm
- Y-FLEX™ thumb
- Sold individually
These gloves are marketed towards golfers who play in hot and humid conditions. Think Florida during the summertime. Or in the case of someone with sweaty hands then any round of golf outside!
For those who use Footjoy gloves, these contain Nanolock™ Fiber Palm material, which provides unmatched gripping power in all weather conditions. They lock your palm with the club for a more secure grip.
If you’re looking for the moisture control of a rain glove but still want something thinner feeling, then this is a great glove for you.
This glove only comes in a one-pack, however, is more affordable. Nice for golfers who aren’t looking for two gloves.
Taylormade Tour Preferred Flex Glove
- AAA Cabretta Soft Tech™ Leather
- Moisture-wicking wristband
- 4-way nylon stretch insert
- Sold individually
Made from AAA Cabretta Soft Tech™ Leather, the Tour Preferred Flex glove fits snuggly while also providing high-performance grip.
The glove also features a moisture wicking wristband, strategically placed perforated leather for increased airflow, and a 4-way nylon insert food stretchability.
I use this glove regularly in humid conditions and I barely notice sweat like I do with other gloves. These are on the expensive end for one glove at $20 but are well worth it if you have sweaty hands.
Bender Spandex Glove
- AA Cabretta Leather Palm with Reinforced Patch
- 4 Way Comfort Stretch
- Independent & Breathable Design
- Sold individually
I’m seeing a lot of compelling reviews for the Bender Spandex glove. As with other moisture-conscious gloves, this one sports AA Cabretta Leather in the palm, with a reinforced patch as well.
These are actually really light and comfortable gloves that feel much more durable. Some online have said they played over 30 rounds with the same pair of gloves and they’re still in great shape. Something to consider if you go through gloves like I do.
Claw MAX Men’s Glove
- Synthetic leather
- Silicone-Web Coating on Palm
- Machine Washable
- Sold individually
Functionally speaking, the Claw MAX glove is a workhorse. The glove is made of synthetic leather and synthetic suede designed with comfort and grip in mind.
Its unique feature is the exclusive silicone web coating. Whatever this coating is, it works well. Even with the sweatiest of hands, you’ll notice a difference.
Another added bonus is the golove is machine washable. With the ability to wash and the overall durability, these gloves will last many rounds.
